Discover Our Course

The “New” and “Old” nines have finally matured into a seamless 18 hole experience that will offer you a most enjoyable challenge. Our tree lined fairways reward the tee shot that finds the fairway. While measuring a seemingly short 6,544 from the Championship tee, this course demands excellence at every turn. Club selection is of extreme importance as elevation changes and swirling winds abound.

If you are a walker, you will enjoy a stroll on beautifully maintained course with an up and down roll that may even draw a bead of sweat. The front nine consists of one par-3, one par-5 and 7 par-4s.   By contrast the back-9 will challenge you throughout. The difficult par-5 17th hole demands excellence from the tee to your last putt. With three par-3s, three par-4s and three par-5s the back nine has some great scoring opportunities.

Needless to say the driver becomes slightly more important on this side. The middle is always best, but a number of doglegs will eventually convince you to gamble and attempt to cut a few corners. Best of luck to you on your journey around the BCC.

The Baraboo Range

A National Natural Landmark, the Baraboo Range is the longest inland glacial mountain range in the Midwest. Overlooking the bluffs of Devil’s Lake State Park, Baraboo Country Club offers the widest views of this pristine portion of the Wisconsin Dells area. Draper Creek meanders throughout the golf course connecting Devil’s Lake to the Baraboo River, creating challenging water features on nine out of 18 championship caliber holes.

The Draper Creek Indian Burial Mound Group, estimated to be over 1000 years old, protected and preserved, offers a distinct feel of the rich history of Baraboo. And in keeping with the area’s concern for wildlife habitat management, Baraboo Country Club has created a haven for birds and small game, while seeking to achieve Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary status through Audubon International.

Nature’s Touch

The BCC is an Audubon certified golf course, and is home to many species of wildlife. Our Clubhouse overlooks the beautiful Baraboo bluff range carved by glaciers years ago. Draper Creek meanders peacefully through the course, coming into play on 9 of 18 holes.
